The Tecumseh Team Quest (TTQ) Course is a series of obstacles or initiatives nestled in a secluded, wooded area right outside Tecumseh, MI (just 55 minutes from Detroit). The TTQ course serves as a multi-purpose training tool, allowing us to customize programs to meet customer needs even more effectively.

Programs

Programs are designed to fit the needs of your business, organization, corporation or small workgroup. These programs enable teams to work effectively together outside of their normal work environment. They are asked to find solutions, delegate responsibilities and support one another and to focus on contributions of team members rather than weaknesses. Activities are designed to be within the physical capabilities of most participants with reasonably good health.

Collaboration: Team to Team

New and Changing Teams

This program is for newly formed teams or teams under-going change in their membership. It will focus on building trust and providing members opportunities to get to know each other in fun and unique ways. Teams will be introduced to some basic team development concepts. Participants will be challenged to become aware of the typical roles they play on the team and encouraged to venture into new roles.

Next Level Teams

This program is ideal for seasoned teams ready to set new goals or prepare for significant projects. We will explore teamwork concepts such as critical thinking, problem-solving, verbal and non-verbal communication, trust and motivation. Teams will want this program to strengthen existing group process and/or to refine their processes. Participants will complete a personal action plan for follow-through.

Mountain Top Teams: TTQ and Beyond

This is our ultimate team development program. This phased adventure program is designed for flexibility, and has the ability to meet your unique human capital needs.

Phase 1: Begin with an in-depth assessment profile that will identify each team members' strengths and opportunities for growth. Together we will incorporate the individual assessment results into practical information team members will use to refine their roles on the team.

Phase 2: Utilizes TTQ ground-level initiatives to enhance team performance. In this phase, participants will clarify their roles and develop a personal action plan with timelines

Phase 3: At TTQ we are commited to your ability to communicate effectively, build trust, collaborate, solve challenges and lead. We judge our success by yours. Our refresher program will help you to continue to reap the benefits of your investment long after your first engagement with us. In phase 3 we will come to your workplace to help your team maintain your commitments and transfer your experience with us into your own unique environment. Participants will recieve coaching to revise and add to their personal action planning to ensure relavancy, and then set goals for phase 4.

Phase 4: Participants will learn how to overcome and breakthrough personal fears that can be roadblocks to achieving personal and team success. We will use the TTQ High Ropes Challenge Course and 40' Rock-Climbing Tower as the context for this phase. Mountain Top Team members will complete phase 4 while further refining their personal performance plan.

Beyond: Long term coaching, goal accountability and continued team and individual growth strategies will be offered, both at your site and at TTQ. Studies indicate extended commitment to personal and professional development initiatives creates a workforce that utilizes its core strengths; seeks to continously improve; and ultimately keeps the business at a competitive advantage thus increasing employee retention.

Team Celebration

This will be the event of the season for your attendees. Deliberately designed for fun and team celebration, we will have your guests laughing and working together like never before. We will custom design a highly spirited celebration that will bring your organizations' theme to life, whether it is teamwork, collaboration, risk-taking, information sharing or adaptability. Your attendees are not just reminded of the theme, they personally experience it through a series of specially designed team challenges. We can upgrade this program to include an incredible High Ropes Challenge or the exhilarating 40' rock-climbing tower. We have volleyball, swimming, fishing, horseshoes, and hayrides to complement this program. Prices for this program include program design and facilitation of activities. We will coordinate with you to select a perfect menu and make all arrangements for a spectacular event that will create long lasting memories and a great time for all!
